Marines from the Wounded Warrior Regiment conduct an evening colors ceremony at the Normandy American Cemetary and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, France. Marines from United States Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment received professional military history instruction on D-Day and the invasion of Europe by Allied Forces in World War II. The regiment provides and enables assistance to wounded, ill and injured Marines, sailors attached to or in support of Marine units, and their family members in order to assist them as they return to duty or transition to civilian life.
