Marines with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, conduct a weighted swim during a squad competition aboard Robertson Barracks, June 3, 2014. The squad competition is a week-long series of timed and graded events designed to test the Marines both physically and mentally. At the end of the competition, the scores will be compiled and a winning squad will be determined. The Marines with MRF-D will conduct independent and bilateral training with the Australian Defence Force aboard existing ADF facilities during the six-month rotation.
