Capt. Jeffrey Carlton prepares for the 15-kilometer bicycle portion of a reverse triathlon May 18 near the Camp Kinser Fitness Center on Camp Kinser. As soon as the race participants finished the run, they quickly grabbed their bicycles and sped away. The event was organized by Marine Corps Community Services. Carlton is a field artillery officer with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
