California Army National Guard (CAARNG) engineers spray an even coat of black dye across the completed surface of Camp Roberts’ recently restabilized parade field April 29, 2014. Eleven citizen-soldiers from across the state contributed to completing this project just days prior to the CAARNG’s statewide consolidated annual training event on Camp Roberts. These Soldiers efforts will ensure CAARNG helicopters have a viable and safe place to land while they’re on post supporting the largest such training event the CAARNG has held in more than a decade.
