A U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) HH-65 Dolphin helicopter from USCG Air Station Atlantic City, N.J. conducted search and rescue maneuvers during Fleet Week New York, May 24, off of The Sullivans Pier in Staten Island. Several spectators touring the USS Cole (DDG 67) and USS McFaul (DDG 74) also enjoyed a narrative about the operations the USCG conducts as a part of their mission. Fleet Week New York, now in its 26th year, is the city's time-honored celebration of the sea services. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today's maritime services. The weeklong celebration has been held nearly every year since 1984. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist Laurie Ford/Released)
