A Sailor from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1 rinses off a screed after helping his battalion construct a concrete pad on board Camp Courtney Marine Corps Base. U.S. Marines in Okinawa will use the completed concrete pad as a site for communications training. NMCB 1 is currently deployed to Japan and several countries in the Pacific area of operations conducting construction operations and humanitarian assistance projects.
