On May 30, the family of Sgt. William E. Dukes donated memorabilia that had once belonged to him to the 81st Regional Support Command Historian. Sgt. Dukes was assigned to Company I, 323rd Infantry Regiment, 81st Infantry Division during WWII. The 81st fought in the Pacific Campaign which included Angaur and Peleliu Islansds in Micronesia as well as the Philippines and Japan. Here, Col. GlannSanders thanks the family for their donation and continued support of the 81st by giving them desert-colored 81st RSC patches.
