Soldiers with the III Corps Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion pet a group of horses from the STAR Healing with Horses program, which is located near the Parie Haynes Ranch south of Killeen, May 30, 2014. Eight Soldiers from the HHBN joined more than 300 6th graders from Eastern Hills Middle School on the ranch for a field day. The III Corps and Fort Hood Adopt-A-School program contributes military resources and services to schools in order to nurture the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth of children in the greater Fort Hood area, focusing on providing Soldier resources to teach, coach, mentor, and inspire students.
