Heavy equipment dropped from an Air Force C-130 Hercules parachutes to the ground at Donnelly Training Area near Fort Greely, Alaska, June 7, 2014. The equipment was dropped for the Paratroopers of 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, to allow them to provide fires support to the paratroopers of 1st Battalion (Airborne), 501st Infantry Regiment, during a joint forcible-entry exercise to train on airfield seizure operations and wide-area security as part of the Spartan Brigade’s certification as the Army’s Contingency Response Force for the Pacific Theater.
