Maj. Gen. Charles L. Hudson, left, offers words of thanks during a master labor contractor retirement ceremony June 4 at the Butler Officers’ Club on Camp Foster. Marines, sailors, families and friends gathered to show support and gratitude for the 12 retiring MLCs in attendance. In total, 18 retiring MLCs shared more than 350 years of combined service to Marine Corps Installations Pacific and Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler. “We are honored to have served with you, and we wish you fair winds and following seas as you continue your journey,” said Hudson.
