U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Jemarco Brooks, 52nd Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels distribution operator, runs a fuel hose out to refuel a returning U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter aircraft at Lask Air Base, Poland, June 9, 2014. This is the first time hot pit refueling has been done in Poland by U.S. Forces. U.S. Aviation Detachment Rotation 14-3 supported Exercise Eagle Talon and BALTOPS 14 by providing a rotation of 18 F-16 aircraft to train with NATO partners. The continuous presence in Eastern Europe aims to reassure NATO allies and maintain security in the region. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Kyle Gese/Released)
