Lt. j.g. Dennis Bradford, U.S. Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville, awaits future instruction as the U.S. flag bearer during a closing ceremony practice for Tradewinds 2014 at Camp Blizzard June 10. Eleven Caribbean nations joined the United States and Canada to participate in the first phase of the exercise. Tradewinds is a joint, combined exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
