A wife of an Army Reserve Soldier assigned to the 423rd Military Police Company uses her smartphone to take a photo of the unit during a departure ceremony held at the unit located in Shoreham, N.Y., June 12. More than 500 family members, friends and community leaders spent several hours with the Soldiers. The 423rd will depart for Fort Bliss training before deploying to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in support of military police operations for U.S. forces.
