U.S. Airmen with the 452nd Civil Engineer Squadron create a conduit in Kaiserslautern, Germany, June 3, 2014, for dozens of television networks to provide coverage of 70th anniversary D-Day events live over satellite to an expected 5 million viewers worldwide. The morning of June 6, 1944, Allied forces conducted a massive airborne assault and amphibious landing in the Normandy region of France.
