The photo shows the Training Support Activity Europe’s Range Training Land Program's (RTLP) newly constructed 17 meter rappel tower at the 7th Army Joint Multinational Training Command’s Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, June 12, 2014. This is part of a larger project to upgrade the Grafenwoehr obstacle course for air assault mobile training Teams. The tower and obstacle course are required to certify USAREUR Soldiers as air assault qualified. The only tower and course that meet the school’s criteria was located in Schweinfurt which is scheduled for closure. (U.S. Army photo by Visual Information Specialist Gertrud Zach/released)
