From the far left, Lieutenant Colonel David E. Moore, Commanding Officer (CO), Financial Management School, Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools (MCCSSS); Major Armando J. Martinez, CO, Headquarters and Service Company, MCCSSS; Lieutenant Colonel Michael J. Monroe, CO, Logistics Operations School, MCCSSS; Lieutenant Colonel Paul F. Fillmore, CO, Personnel Administration School, MCCSSS; and Lieutenant Colonel Craig L. Harvey, CO, Ground Supply School, MCCSSS participate in the first event, the "Run of the Ranks" during the MCCSSS field meet held aboard Camp Johnson, N.C., on April 25, 2014. Marine students and staff of MCCSSS compete in the field meet to encourage camaraderie and motivation among all the schools. The field meet is held semi-annually and consists of 8 events which include: 7 ton-pull, run of the ranks, tug of war, stretcher carry, combat conditioning, soccer, volleyball and basketball. After the competition concluded the first place winner of the MCCSSS Commander's Cup was the Marine students and staff of Financial Management School.
