An Iraqi Special Operations Forces instructor utilizes a barricade for cover, as he fires his M-9 at a target down range on Dec. 22 during the first ISOF Commando Instructor Refresher Course. The 10-day Iraqi Special Warfare Center and School course provided instructors with a strong foundation from which to refine skills in basic marksmanship, military leadership, close-quarter battle rhythms, hand-to-hand combat, and an opportunity to update commando-course program of instruction.
