Sgt. 1st Class Christopher McWilliams, an infantryman from Concord, N.H., with C Company, 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain), helps carry a simulated casualty during a decisive action exercise June 18, 2014. About 100 soldiers from the New Hampshire Army National Guard’s mountain company are at Fort Polk, La. training with their parent unit, the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Mountain), which is comprised of about 4,000 soldiers from 21 states. They will be the only National Guard brigade to complete a "Decisive Action Training Environment" rotation at Fort Polk’s Joint Readiness Training Center this year.
