U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Altaf Swati from Houston, Texas, of the 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division helps a vehicle safely turn around after finding an impassable road during a patrol to check on the progress of several schools being built in Afak, Iraq, Dec. 28, 2008. The school construction projects are being funded by the Iraqi government.
