U.S. Army retired Gen. Carter Ham gets information on a TR 85M1 Main Battle Tank from Romanian soldiers during exercise Combined Resolve II, June 20, 2014, Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany. The exercise is a U.S. Army Europe-directed multinational exercise; including more than 4,000 participants from 15 allied and partner countries. The gunnery is the first time a U.S. Army rotational force used the European Activity Set -- a set of armored vehicles and equipment pre-positioned in Grafenwoehr including the most up-to-date versions of the M1A2 Abrams tanks and M2/M3 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles -- for live-fire training in Europe.
