Keegan Carlson, a civil affairs specialist with the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) and from Colorado Springs, Colo., plots his first point during the Night Land Navigation event at the 2014 U.S. Army Reserve Best Warrior Competition, June 24, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The Warriors were dropped off at 1 a.m. and had four hours to plot and find their map points in complete darkness.
