Pvt. Carissa Peters, a Shawano, Wis. native, and a power generation equipment repairer with the 62nd Quartermaster Company, 398th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, is loading parts to be turned in to the Supply Support Activity. Peters is training to fill the duty position of an automated logistics specialist as a Standard Army Maintenance System-Level 1 Enhanced, or SAMS-E, operator. Peters says, "When you're turning in parts you need to make sure you fill out all the paperwork properly, this includes the tags on the individual parts and the turn in documents." Peters, along with the other Soldiers of the 62nd QM Co. are currently serving a 15-month tour of duty in support of Multi-National Division-Baghdad.
