Master Sgt. Tim Faulkner, from San Antonio, Texas, slices into a cake for the U.S. Army’s 239th birthday June 14 at Ziemsko Airfield, Poland. Faulkner is a member of 12th Combat Aviation Brigade supporting Company C, 1st Battalion, 503rd Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade which has been in Poland for several weeks training with Canadian and Polish paratroopers. Faulkner, noncommissioned officer-in-charge of the S4 section, is 47-years-old and as the oldest Soldier on ground was given the duty of cutting the cake.
