Brigadier Gen. Coglianese traveled to New York City to officiate Col. James Maxwell’s retirement ceremony. Maxwell, a New York State trooper and Marine, served 32 in the Marine Corps. During his career he served in Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom.
