Tears flow as Chief Warrant Officer 5 Jack Van Zanten retires from the United States Army after over 40 years of service. CW5 Van Zanten is the last active duty combat Veteran from the Vietnam War. He has served proudly and honorably for more than four decades. With his wife, Connie Van Zanten, by his side, CW5 Van Zanten said a tearful good-bye to those whom have served along side him while he was stationed at his final military installation of Lucius D. Clay Kaserne. (Photo taken by Visual Information Specialist Dee Crawford, Training Support Center Wiesbaden, RTSD West, TSAE, JMTC/Released)
