Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Adron Diggs, a native of Chattanooga, Tenn., who serves with the Redeployment Assistance Inspection Detachment team, points out the differences between usable markings and markings which must be remade as he inspects containers at Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan, July 3. The pictured markings are stickers which are bonded to the door of the container. Diggs explained how even readable numbers, like the ones he’s pointing out, could come off in transit if the markings aren't completely bonded to the container. The duty of the RAID team is to ensure all containers leaving KAF are in good condition to transport mission-essential equipment back safely to the U.S. (U.S. Army photo By. Spc. Ariel J. Solomon)
