Parris Island Fire Department firefighter Chris Chambers sprays remnants of the Tomato Festival race off participants July 12, 2014, following the event held on Cane Island in Beaufort, S.C. The department worked with Lady’s Island Fire Department to practice decontamination drills and test their equipment’s capabilities to remove “toxins,” tomatoes in this instance, from contaminated persons.
