Cpl. Phillip S. Lilly II, a scout sniper with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Ground Combat Element, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, and a Princewick, W.Va., native, looks for simulated targets during a Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure exercise at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., July 15, 2014. During VBSS, scout snipers provided cover from UH-1Y Hueys to the Maritime Raid Force, Force Reconnaissance Company, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion on the simulated vessel of interest.
