U.S. Army World War II, D-Day Veterans participate in the 70th Anniversary of D-Day ceremony, June 5, 2014, in Sainte Mère Eglise, France. A U.S. Air Force C-130H Hercules aircraft from the 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, provided a flyover to signal the start of the ceremony. Sainte Mère Eglise was the first town liberated from German Forces by U.S. Soldiers from the Army's 82nd Airborne Division.
