Iowa Army National Guard Soldiers from the 3654th Maintenance Company, Knoxville, Iowa, recover a “broken down” Humvee using a M984 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) during annual training at Fort McCoy, Wis. If a vehicle breaks during a mission, these Soldiers try and fix it on the spot. If they can’t, they’re learning new recovery skills so they can repair it at a later time.
