Inspectors now carry tablets loaded with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Levee Inspection Software, which replaced a paper-based system. The tablets deliver an initial list of deficiencies more quickly to levee sponsors, which gives them more time to remediate any issues before the Corps completes the final report.
