The Drum Major is a respected and coveted position within the United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps. Master Gunnery Sgt. Kevin Buckles is the current Drum Major and Senior Enlisted Advisor of the unit. Each year one NCO and one SNCO are chosen through an arduous audition to fill the role of the Drum Major and represent the D&B during the NCO Tuesday Sunset Parade and the SNCO Friday Evening Parade. Staff Sgt. Codie Williams of Richardson, Texas will represent the D&B as the Staff NCO Drum Major during the SNCO Friday Evening Parade while the representative for the 2014 NCO Sunset Parade is Sgt. Matthew Moyer of Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Every key billet during the parades will be filled by NCOs from Marine Barracks Washington, D.C.
