U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Antonio Serrano demonstrates the proper handling and firing of an M-16A automatic weapon in an indoor training facility aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18). The weapons have been converted to use compressed air and a laser. New Orleans is on a certification exercise as part of the Boxer Expeditionary Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
