U.S. Marines and Sailors with the Logistics Combat Element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South walk down the beach to an extraction point after the conclusion of a theater security cooperation event held at Marambaia Island, Brazil, Aug. 7, 2014. The TSC event consisted of bi-lateral exchanges of medical care, combat tracking, explosive ordnance disposal and combat marksmanship with Brazilian Naval forces. Through close cooperation, the U.S. and its partners are ready to address transnational security challenges through integrated and coordinated approaches.
