Guatemalan Brigada de Infanteria de Marina (BIM) engineer Sargento Segundo Christian Marroquin Ortiz removes mold and old paint from an exterior wall during a remodeling project at the Biblioteca Municipal Corporacion 74-78. The BIM engineers along with their U.S. counterparts help renovate the local library as part of a humanitarian engineering project in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, Aug. 1, 2014. The Marines and Sailors are helping to remodel buildings in support of Southern Partnership Station 2014, a combined joint exercise focused on subject matter expert exchanges with partner nations and security forces as well as military to military engagements and community relations projects in Central America.
