Soldiers from the 652nd Engineer Company, located in Hammond, Wis., spent the day bushwhacking through thick brush, climbing jagged mountains and walking down steep slopes throughout Northeastern Canada's rugged terrain. Their commander, Capt. Jared Emmart from Stoughton Wis., rewarded them with an off day thanks to their hard work constructing a bridge at 5 Wing Goose Bay's Austere Operations Training Center located in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Soldiers agreed that the view from the top of the mountain is much more awarding when you climb it rather than drive an ATV. They are set to complete construction by Aug. 20, 2014.
