Spc. William Murray, a Corpus Christi, Texas, native and attack helicopter repairer with Company B, 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion “First Attack,” 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, holds his one-week-old daughter, Hazel, for the first time during the battalion’s welcome home and colors uncasing ceremony at Cooper Field at Fort Hood, Texas, Aug. 13. During the ceremony, about 50 First Attack Soldiers came home to their Families and friends after a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan in support of the United States Central Command area of responsibility.
