Spc. Keith Lewis, who was named the 2014 Army Reserve Medical Command’s Soldier of the Year after he won the Best Warrior Competition, said he took a job climbing trees despite his fear of heights. The Gilbert, Ariz., native who resides in Mesa, said he conquered his fear of heights because he knew it could hold him back as a Soldier.
