U.S. Marines with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde’s (LPD 19) combat cargo section load cargo into an MH-53E Sea Dragon with Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 15 during routine flight operations. The Mesa Verde is deployed as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
