Fire support specialists from 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, recertify for their Joint Fire Observer skill identifiers on the Call For Fire Trainer at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Aug. 4, 2014. Available since 2006, the technology bridges the gap between live fire exercises and classroom training. It integrates simulated, interactive missions with technology the fire support specialists use when executing their mission on the battlefield. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
