The historical Kirkuk Citadel in Iraq has been standing for more than 2,500 years and the main entrance still welcomes all people, regardless of their religious preference. The Citadel, which once housed a Jewish temple, then a Christian church and a Muslim mosque, is believed to be the final resting place of the biblical prophet, Daniel.
