National police officers assigned to the 8th NP Brigade, 2nd NP Division walk through a fence hole during Operation 2 Panther Doubleday Feb. 9 in the New Baghdad district of eastern Baghdad. NPs partnered with Paratroopers assigned to Company A, 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad in a combined clearance operation to search for weapons cache in and around the district of New Baghdad.
