Army 1st Lt. Carlos Diaz of Texas Medical Command, Texas Army National Guard, and a representative of the Chilean Navy examine a list of immunizations available at Operation Lone Star (OLS), an emergency preparedness exercise, in Laredo, Texas, Aug. 6, 2014. Representatives of the Chilean military and a Chilean national emergency response organization visited Operation Lone Star in order to gain understanding of how the Texas Military Forces collaborates with Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and other civil agencies in an emergency response scenario.
