U.S. Marines handle detonating cord while participating in an urban breaching course during exercise Platinum Lion 14-2 at the Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, Aug. 5, 2014. During the course participants received various methods of structural breaching using explosives. Platinum Lion is an annually-scheduled training engagement that promotes and strengthens interoperability between regional partners, allies and U.S. forces through multilateral familiarization and training.
