Sgt. Maj. Gerardo Gonzalez, the support operations sergeant major for 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, was awarded an Army Commendation Medal in a ceremony on Wheeler Army Airfield, Aug. 14. Gonzalez was awarded the ARCOM for personally aiding to save a young girl’s life at Pokai Bay, June 15.
