Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 15 prepare for take off in an MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161 “Greyhawks,” before a flight to Bryant Field Airport in Bridgeport, Calif., Aug. 20. Pilots used the added weight for familiarization when flying at higher altitudes. This allowed them to get a better feel for how their aircraft would maneuver and handle with extra weight.
