The heavy lift vessel Blue Marlin transits the Columbia River past Astoria, Ore., on its way to Portland, Aug. 24, 2014. The Blue Marlin is a 738-foot semi submersible heavy lift vessel was the vessel that transport the USS Cole back to the United States after the warship was damaged by suicide bombers while in the port of Aden, Yemen.
