Kiersten Park, a friend of Capt. Jaybriel Akoi, the operations officer in charge, donned a protective bomb suit and attempted to pick up miniature traffic cones during the 75th Ordnance Company's Family Demonstration Day, Aug. 22. The Copperas Cove native wore the 84-pound suit for a short period of time. The family demonstration day was held to build Soldier morale and to educate Soldiers' family members and friends of the intricacies of the explosive ordnance disposal field. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
