U.S. Army members train for deployment at the national training center on Fort Irwin, Calif., Aug. 10, 2014. The training center conducts tough and realistic land operations for combat, medical and leadership teams to train in deployment like conditions. This 14 day rotation will include mass casualty exercises, base attacks, and other types of training to test and teach the soldiers. The opposing force at the center is the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, who are stationed at the base to provide an enemy force to units on a rotation at Fort Irwin.
