Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 3rd Class Mitchell D. Crowther, from Perryville, Md., leaps into the water from a MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter to simulate a rescue training evolution with fellow members of Helicopter Combat Squadron 22 Sea Knights. Amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) is the flagship for the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
